- A Kermit for UNISYS A-series mainframes was annonunced some months ago. I
- got the files and a colleague of mine at Sveriges Riksbank tried to patch
- it for UNISYS A-series with Swedish national charaters. The code was good
- but it was not possible to change it for our national swedish characters
- because there was not a usable entry point for a patch like this. It
- compiled ok, but our Swedish national characters prevented it from working.
-
- We are running another Kermit on the A10 machine but that can only use 94
- bytes packages. I can't explain it better than this because I am not working
- with the UNISYS mainframe any longer. Changes has been done for this other
- Kermit but all changes has been done in the NDL, (Network Definition Language)
- and not in the Kermit algol source.
